Rapturous Repose

There is nothing more comfortable than a forbidden couch, at least for my dog Lucy. Here you see Lucy at rest with her beloved tennis ball. This painting is a sequel to my first print, "Persistence", depicting Lucy looking under the love seat at her ball out of reach. If you look closely you will see the upholstery pattern is composed of tennis balls.
