Spotted in the Garden

Dalmatians are so wonderfully graphic that I wanted to make a painting where the dog was part of an overall pattern. I chose cornflowers to mirror the dalmatian's spots and because I loved the color. It's also true that dogs like nothing more that a cozy flower bed to take a midday snooze. If you look closely, you will find little surprises in the dog's spots.
